ARTICLE IN INTERTRAFFIC: THE FUTURE OF CONNECTED INFRASTRUCTURES

Intertraffic released a new article on the adaptation of Smart Infrastructures to new forms of mobility, considering factors such as innovative technologies, in-motion charging of vehicles, and the overall connectivity of transport infrastructures.

STA representatives José F. Papí (Etelätär Innovation) and Prof. Dr. Manuel José Manuel Menéndez (UPM) highlighted the importance of adapting existing infrastructures to the future and the neccessity of implementing new innovative approaches. Much can be done still to render large transport infrastructures better connected and therefore optimise their use.
