New STA by-laws adopted

On 18 December 2017, a signing act formalised the decision adopted during the last STA General Meeting to transfer the association’s headquarters to Brussels, Belgium. Upon approval of the Belgian Government, the statute of STA as an international non-for-profit association (AISBL) under Belgian Law will be officially endorsed.

The Smart Transportation Alliance (STA) would like to take the opportunity of this end-of-the year newsletter to express to all our readers the warmest thoughts and best wishes for a wonderful holiday and a very Happy New Year. 2017 has been an eventful year. Seven new organisations joined STA, several new publications and articles were released, and three STA conferences with the 2017 STA Annual Conference and Innovation Awards concluding the season on 28 November 2017. These achievements further stimulate STA to carry its activities aligned with the mission to create smart, sustainable and safe transportation infrastructures globally.
