Introduction
Our course on sustainable road pavements serves as a solid introduction into the topic of sustainable road pavement solutions. Participants learn how to accurately evaluate the sustainability of existing road pavements and how to render them more sustainable. Topics include Materials & Technologies, Manufacturing, design & construction as well as the Management & Maintenance and Auditing & Certification.
A special focus lies on practical best practices and an in-depth overview over recycled materials which can be implemented in already available infrastructures.
All participants receive access to a recording of the training in the STA Online Academy afterwards.
Contents & Learnings
Throughout the course, several aspects of road pavement materials and maintenance are highlighted and considered and concrete tools as well as best practices are introduced and explained in detail:

Circular economies, LCA & LCCA;

Manufacturing, design & construction: slender and smart pavements, efficient construction and best equipment;
