STA WISHES YOU HAPPY HOLIDAYS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR

The Smart Transportation Alliance (STA) would like to express to all our readers the best wishes for a Happy Holiday Season. We hope you enjoy this time with your loved ones and have a wonderful start to the New Year.

2023 is another exciting year that comes to an end! This year we are very happy to share our accomplishments: i) we have contributed as work package leaders to two EU-funded research projects, SCALE-UP & KEYSTONE; ii) published a Discussion Paper diving into the new EU Taxonomy Classification system for transportation infrastructures; iii) presented the conference paper “A voluntary safety excellence labelling: A way ahead for Road Restraint Systems (RRS)” at the PIARC XXVIIth World Road Congress, based on the findings of long-term research conducted & fully funded by STA; iv) launched the STA Smart Talks, a podcast video series; and v) participated in several conferences, knowledge exchange webinars, events & held the 8th edition of the STA Annual Conference & Innovation Awards with great success in Milan, Italy on the 26 October 2023.

In 2024, inspired by our present & and past accomplishments, we carry forward our mission towards a smart, sustainable and safe future for transportation infrastructures!
