STA PRESENTS SCALE-UP AT GO MOBILITY FAIR 2022

STA represented the SCALE-UP Project on urban mobility at last weeks’ GoMobility Expo in Irún, Spain. Apart from a range of different research & innovation actions and projects, the majority of exhibitors were commercial companies and also some public authorities and research institutes. STA represented the EU-funded IA SCALE-UP in form of a poster, containing the project description, objectives, challenges, barriers, opportunities and consortium partners.

This years’ edition of the event was significantly larger than in previous years and the focus of the Expo has clearly shifted from a local event for the Basque region mobility network to an international event of larger scope. Entry was free of charge to encourage a diverse mix of visitors to attend.

The overarching topic of the event was clear: e-mobility is here to stay and more innovative & comfortable ways to charge these vehicles for both personal and professional use are needed. Numerous charging solutions and technologies were introduced across the fair and panels.
