2023 STA ANNUAL CONFERENCE & INNOVATION AWARDS: NOMINATE YOUR CANDIDATE UNTIL 25 AUGUST 2023

The 2023 STA Annual Innovation Awards are going to be once again part of the 2023 STA Annual Conference on Thursday 26 October 2023 (09:00-19:00 CET) in Milan, Italy. The Call for Entries for the Person of the Year and Best Innovation Solution/Project categories are now open and will close on 25 August 2023.

The award ceremony of the 2023 STA Annual Innovation Awards will take place in CSI Auditorium on Thursday 26 October 2023 (13:15-13:45).

The STA Annual Innovation Awards honour leading innovators from around the globe that are significantly contributing to deploying Smart Transportation Infrastructures (Person of the Year Category) and upgrading the methods, technologies and standards associated with transportation infrastructures (Best Innovation Solution/Project Category).

Each submission to the Person of the Year Category must include the following components:

• Short bio focusing on the features that make the decision-maker a good candidate for the award (100 words maximum);

• Overview of career achievements;

• Claims made for the deployment of Smart Transportation Infrastructures in his/her current and/or previous spheres of responsibility.

Each submission to the Best Innovation Solution/Project Category must include the following components:

• Abstract focusing on the features that make the solution or project a good candidate for the award (100 words maximum);

• Overview of the problem and its importance;

• Claims made for innovation and its implementation;

• Performance results, including scalability, time to market deployment, efficiency and peak performance;

• Implications for future systems and applications.

The Jury of the STA Annual Innovation Awards is made up of the members of the STA Management Committee.

Candidates can be nominated writing to our email until 25 August 2023. Recipients will be announced in early September 2023 and the ceremony will take place.
