DP 1/2019 KEY CHALLENGES FOR THE SMART TRANSPORTATION INFRASTRUCTURES OF THE FUTURE – RESULTS OF PERCEPTION’S SURVEY

The Smart Transportation Alliance (STA) has released the Discussion Paper “Key Challenges for the Smart Transportation Infrastructures of the Future – Results of Perception’s Survey”. The paper reports the outcomes of on-line surveys targeted at the transportation expert community that were conducted between March and October 2018, collecting globally 371 answers.

The aim of the surveys was to collect informed perceptions on the key challenges involved in the four different domains of the Smart Transport Infrastructures of the Future (Mobility, Safety & Security, Sustainability, Financing) in order to identify current hurdles and in addition priorities of intervention.
